FastCAM is a CAD/CAM solution designed for CNC profile cutting, helping fabricators turn drawings into machine-ready code with speed and accuracy. It imports common CAD formats, cleans geometry, and applies kerf compensation, lead-ins/outs, and optimized cut sequencing. Powerful nesting tools improve material utilization and support techniques such as common-line and chain cutting, with collision avoidance and micro-joints to protect parts. FastCAM outputs NC code for plasma, laser, oxy-fuel, and waterjet machines via configurable post-processors, and includes part libraries for repeat jobs. Built for production environments, it reduces programming time, minimizes scrap, and streamlines shop-floor workflows while offering both automatic and manual control for complex jobs.
